and climbs up to Eagle Peak Summit before dropping down to Mitchell Canyon

Streams and Waterfalls
The winter rains have reactivated the streams and waterfalls at Mount Diablo
State Park. This is Mitchell Creek at Meridian Ridge Road near Deer Flat.
Heavy rain is forecast for the Bay Area this week. Once the
trails dry out again it should be a great time to hike the
Waterfalls of Mount Diablo loop trail.
